The Riley County Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured.
According to a tweet from the agency posted at 6:14 p.m. Monday, the incident occurred in the 2200 block of College Ave. The shooting was reported just before 4:20 p.m., RCPD spokeswoman Hali Rowland said.
An adult male was transported with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Via Christi Hospital at 1823 College Ave. — 0.3 miles from the shooting — was placed on lockdown. It was lifted around 6:30 p.m., an official with the hospital said.
The suspect hasn’t been apprehended, RCPD said via Twitter.
