Topeka police: Thursday night gunshot victim somewhat uncooperative with officers

A man who suffered a gunshot wound to the foot late Thursday wasn’t “fully cooperative” with police, a Topeka police statement issued early Friday said.

Police responded about 8:40 p.m. Thursday to a house in the 1500 block of S.W. Polk after a shooting was reported there, Lt. Steve Roth said in the statement.

The unidentified male victim suffered a gunshot wound to a foot that wasn’t considered to be life-threatening, Roth said. No one has been arrested in the shooting.
