A man who suffered a gunshot wound to the foot late Thursday wasn’t “fully cooperative” with police, a Topeka police statement issued early Friday said.
Police responded about 8:40 p.m. Thursday to a house in the 1500 block of S.W. Polk after a shooting was reported there, Lt. Steve Roth said in the statement.
The unidentified male victim suffered a gunshot wound to a foot that wasn’t considered to be life-threatening, Roth said. No one has been arrested in the shooting.
Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact the police criminal investigations bureau at 368-9400 or the Crime Stoppers tip line at 234-0007.
