Topeka weather for Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017: Cloudy with highs only in the lower-40s

A cool, cloudy fall day is on tap Tuesday in the Topeka area, as highs should be in the mid-40s.

 

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday should see slightly higher temperatures as highs should top out around 50 degrees.

Highs over the weekend should be in the 50s, with a chance for showers Friday night into Saturday.

Here’s the seven-day outlook from the National Weather Service office in Topeka:

Today: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the morning.

Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Saturday, Veterans Day: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58.

Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.
