This week’s #FoodFind is nothing fancy. A classic single cheeseburger served with mustard, pickles and onion. The fries, a thicker cut, are lightly salted and fried to perfection.
Harold’s Prize Package is a longtime local secret. It’s to-go orders only, and on a busy Wednesday afternoon orders flew out the door as the phone rang constantly.
It’s definitely the norm to call ahead — (785) 232-5764 — and Prize Package offers all the basics, from burgers to BLTs to hot dogs to polish sausage. But if you don’t know what to pick, I encourage making the trip for the full experience.
