The late, great, Thin White Duke was honoured with five Grammy Awards: Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Recording Package, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. He had won two Grammys previously, but for Best Video in 1987 and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
His son tweeted an emotional tribute to his late father's memory in conjunction with the award:
