The long wait is over for topnotch men’s volleyball’s aficionados as the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2nd Season Open Conference men’s division, more popularly known as the Spikers’ Turf, is set to open its curtains on October 6.
Ten teams will vie for the much-coveted title and will try to topple Philippine Air Force, the defending champions.
They will be defending their title against PLDT, Philippine Navy, Philippine Army, Instituto Estetico Manila, Far Eastern University, Sta. Elena, Team Fury, Cignal and Ateneo-Fudgee Barr.
A total of 45 playdates will be played during the preliminary round of the tournament, which will use a single round robim format and will run until November 29.
Games will be held at the Ateneo Blue Eagles Gym and televised at Hyper channel.
As of posting time, official team rosters are yet to be released.
