THE ROAD

TO FRANCE

Brazil swept all before them at the Copa America Femenina 2018. They won all seven of their matches, scoring 31 goals along the way - averaging 4.42 per match - and conceding just twice.

THE COACH

Vadao

In his first stint as Brazil head coach, Vadao led the team to the Round of 16 at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, won the Pan American Games and finished fourth at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Since returning in September 2017, he has led the team to another Copa America crown.

THE STAR

Marta

Already a living legend, Brazil's captain and No10 has been crowned the world’s top female player on a record six occasions. France 2019 will be the fifth FIFA Women’s World Cup for a player who is already the tournament's all-time leading scorer with 15 goals.
