TO FRANCE

The Reggae Girlz progressed through the Caribbean zone of qualifying to reach the CONCACAF Women’s championship, where they proceeded to make history. They secured a momentous third-place finish – and a spot at France 2019 – with a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Panama.




THE COACH

Hue Menzies

Menzies boasts over 30 years’ coaching experience and has been working with Jamaican national team since 2014. With him as leader, the Reggae Girlz achieved the historic feat of becoming the first Caribbean team to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup.



THE STAR

Jody Brown

After her impressive performances in the CONCACAF Women’s Championship, the teenager forward was named best young player of the tournament. Against Panama, she scored one goal and provided another (2-2, 4-2 PEN).
