FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) is the international umbrella association for world football and has 211 member associations. As world football's governing body, FIFA follows the mission and goals established for the association in the FIFA Statutes.

Its headquarters, the Home of FIFA, is situated in Zurich, Switzerland, where it employs 400 staff members, 40 per cent of whom are women and 60 per cent are men from 45 different countries. FIFA has four official languages: German, English, Spanish and French.
