The New York Office of UNITAR is dedicated to fulfilling its small part in the broader mandate of the United Nations. The New York Office aims to equip members of this community with the capacity to navigate and contribute to the United Nations more broadly. In particular, it seeks to respond to the needs of delegates from developing and least developed countries, providing them with the knowledge and capabilities necessary to operate effectively within the United Nations system.

The Nigeria Project Office (NPO), a part of Division for People, was established on 23 March 2006 as a field office in Nigeria. Operating in collaboration with federal, state and local authorities, NPO implements various training and capacity building activities.

The CIFAL Global Network is composed of 20 International Training Centres for Authorities and Leaders. These CIFAL centres are located across Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean. The network provides innovative training throughout the world and serves as a hub for the exchange of knowledge amongst government officials, the private sector and civil society.
