UNITAR works on the basis of a two-year budget cycle. The Programme Budget provides the overall budget and results framework for work carried out by the Institute and is developed based on the strategic framework’s programme objectives and functional enablers. Results-based budgeting involves the creation of a logical framework which includes defining of objectives, expected accomplishments, indicators of achievement and outputs.
