I’m not defending these idiots, but the fight is never over the actual item.
It maybe starts that way, but escalates to being about something more. Name calling or pushing or whatever.
Whole thing absolutely stupid. But it’s rarely “I’m taking the last of this item, fight me if you want it”
Edit: yes there are a few times it’s actually over the item. But usually it’s not. It’s a respect and ego thing
Of course, it’s a battle over who gets the last “love, live, laugh” sign so they can show how quirky their family is.

I was about to say this can’t be recent until I saw the masks. This is humanity and the reason I’m in no rush to go out anytime soon.
