News & Notes

Connections Area Agency on Aging is pleased to offer Powerful Tools for Family Caregivers, which is an evidence-based class starting on January 12, 2021 to benefit Family Caregivers:

Powerful Tools for Family Caregivers provide caregivers with tools and strategies to better handle the unique caregiver challenges you face.

Do you know someone, or are you, caring for an older individual?

We would like to hear about this caregiver. How do they take care of themselves and manage the stress?

We will be honoring the great work of caregivers during National Family Caregiver Month - November 2020.
Please share with us, in 250 words or less, how the awesome caregiver you're writing about does with their caregiving duties.
All caregivers submitted will be honored during November.

Connections Area Agency on Aging is requesting local contractors and agencies to partner with. This will allow Connections to better serve our seniors in our community with unexpected home repair or modifications needed to remain safe in their homes.

One of our recipients of 2019 Secret Santa gifts expressed her abounding joy!
