Roadmap

Stage 1: Finish The Story - First Playthrough

Minecraft Dungeons has no missable trophies so you can play at your own pace and replay any levels you like. The main focus for this stage is to complete all 9 story related levels. You will unlock a handful of other trophies along the way like killing a certain amount of mob types and earning emeralds just by playing naturally.
Defeat 50 mobs.
Defeat 2,500 mobs.
Defeat 50 passive mobs.
Defeat 50 enchanted mobs.
Reach level 10.
Reach level 25.
Find and open your first 'Fancy' treasure chest.
Collect a total of 1,000 emeralds.
Complete Squid Coast and set up camp.
Complete Creeper Woods.
Complete Pumpkin Pastures and Soggy Swamp.
Complete Redstone Mines and Cacti Canyon.
Complete Desert Temple, Fiery Forge and Highblock Halls.
Defeat the Arch-Illager at the Obsidian Pinnacle.
Enchant an item and upgrade the enchantment to Tier 3.

Stage 2: Adventure Mode - Second Playthrough

Once you have completed your first playthrough you will unlock adventure mode. This is like New Game+ where you keep all your items and you can replay each level on a higher difficulty with better stats on weapons and armor.

The focus on this stage is to just play through the story naturally while finding/buying/selling items to get the best enchantment and state from the RNG loot.

You will likely kill 2,500 mobs and and hit level 50 during this playthrough.
Defeat 2,500 mobs.
Reach level 50.

Stage 3: Apocalypse Mode - Third Playthrough

Apocalypse mode is the highest difficulty the game has to offer. In this run you will have a good grasp on how to play, what the enchantments do and you will be essentially grinding the RNG machine to look for the best stats for your Armor and Weapons so you can take on the boss at the end of the game.

You will likely open 100 chests and collect 5,000 emeralds in this run and items with 3 enchantments slots will start to appear so you can work on Gold Maxed Out And Geared Up. This is also when you can find the Iron Golem ally needed for Silver A Friend In Need.

You will want to be around level 90 - 100 before taking on the boss as the minimum recommended power level is 91 but this is highly dependent on how lucky you get with the RNG loot as you might be able to earn Gold High Treason earlier.
Open 100 treasure chests.
Collect a total of 5,000 emeralds.
Defeat the Arch-Illager on Apocalypse difficulty.
Equip a gear set consisting of fully enchanted items (3 enchantment slots upgraded to level 3).
Use artifacts to summon the Wolf, Llama and Iron Golem allies at least once each.

Stage 4: Cleanup - Miscellaneous Trophies

This is the time for cleaning up any miscellaneous trophies you have not already unlocked like Bronze Om Nom Nom and Gold Life Of The Party. Once all trophies have been earned you can show off your new shiny aptly named Platinum trophy!
Revive a downed friend 20 times.
Eat 200 food items.
Kill any 10 mobs at once with TNT.

Tips & Strategies

Death Cap MushroomBelow are a few tips that may help you on your playthroughs.

TNT

TNT is a good crowd disperser, the damage will be exactly the same to any and all mobs inside the radius once thrown, sometimes it might be better to be inside the radius and take the health hit if it lures mobs inside to kill them. You can also stack 3 TNT on top of each other however currently it will throw all 3 at once instead of 1 at a time.

Level System

Each level that you play has an option to increase the difficulty of that level. This is not to be confused with the games overall difficulty level. For example, if you are playing on Adventure difficulty, when you are choosing a level to play you will be able to toggle between Adventure-I to Adventure-VI. The higher the tier you go the higher rewards you get in terms of loot and the more difficult the level is.

Secret Levels

There are a handful of secret levels in the game that can be unlocked by finding the hidden entrance. The most important one is the Mooshroom level which is very handy for exp grinding. You will need to collect all the power blocks hidden in 9 levels and then activate the dog picture in the church at your camp. Below is a video for a visual representation on how to find each power block.

Note that during the reviving animation you can be hurt and killed so if possible clear out any enemies first.

Enchanted mobs are mobs that have a purple glow surrounding them and are larger in size, have more power and damage than their regular counterparts. The mobs will be enchanted by a villager wizard/enchanter who is carrying a book which he uses to cast a spell on any mob within range to enchant them.

Enchanted mobs can be a passive or an aggressive mob. If you kill the enchanter the mob will return to normal so ignore the enchanter so you can kill 50 of these purple berserkers for the trophy.

This trophy sounds hard but it will come naturally as you play. It will generally unlock sometime during your play-through on Adventure difficulty. As you need to have a power level minimum of 91 for the final boss fight on Apocalypse difficulty you will be heading towards level 100 anyway to take him on so this trophy will be a halfway point.

You can earn experience by killing mobs, a good farming spot for this is on the Redstone Mines level as there are multiple spawner blocks which will spawn a bunch of mobs continuously until you destroy the spawner block. Prepare your best weapons and enchantments and then get in range of the spawner and wait for the mobs to spawn and then just kill them while leaving the spawner untouched so it will keep generating more mobs. There are a few spots on this level where you can be in range of multiple spawners at once if you feel brave enough to take on more mobs at a time.

A more efficient XP farming method would be to unlock the secret Mooshroom level as they will give you a lot of exp as you kill them, and there is a lot of Mooshrooms in this level. To find out how to unlock this secret level please see Tips & Strategies at the top of the guide.

Bronze
Fancy Chests are rare gold chests that will spawn on levels as you play through them. Some are out in the open on the natural progression path to completing the mission while others are expertly hidden behind trees or on islands.

You can pick this trophy up within the first minute of playing on the very first level if you want, however it will come naturally in time if you miss the first one.

Depending on how thoroughly you explore each level, you my need to grind a little to get this trophy.

Chests that count for this are:
  1.  The Fancy (gold) chests
  2. Regular Minecraft 2 block brown chests usually found near the end of the level and will always contain a stack of arrows and bread
  3. Single block brown chests.

Chests can be out in the open where you can see them or hidden. Some only spawn when you get near them and others are hidden behind trees so it is worth exploring. Remember you can use your doge/roll ability to cross small gaps and your map will also chest the chest icon if you are near it.

During your 3 playthroughs of Default, Adventure and then Apocalypse you should be at around 70-100 chests so just replay some levels in default to fly through it and open the remaining chests.

Emeralds are the economy for Minecraft Dungeons. You can earn emeralds by opening chests, killing mobs, opening vases and finally salvaging Armor and Weapons.

You will naturally unlock this trophy well before your final fight in Apocalypse difficulty as you will be salvaging a lot of items while you find the right enchantments for your build.

After each level it is recommended to spend all of your emeralds at the traders for new items and then salvaging the stuff you do not want or need.

You do not need to have 5,000 emeralds in the bank at once for this trophy as it is accumulative and there is nothing else to spend the emeralds on do not worry about keeping a large bank account as it is not needed and there is no penalty to having no money.
Om Nom Nom
Eat 200 food items.
35.32%
Uncommon
Bronze
This trophy has had reports of it not unlocking properly after eating 200 food items. It is recommended that you eat all 200 food on a single level if it does not unlock for you during natural gameplay.

Food items in the game heal you with the regeneration effect, lasting between 3-30 seconds depending on what item you eat. For this trophy you will need to eat 200 of them.

Food has a chance to drop from any mob in the game, with a higher chance from passive mobs such as cows and sheep. The best level to farm this on Creeper Woods as it has the largest amount of passive mobs in any level.

Finally you can enchant your armor with "Food Reserves" which will create random food items every time you heal, with tier 3 dropping 3 food.

To farm this trophy upgrade some Armor with the Food Reserves enchantment and start any level and just stand there and hit L1 to heal and it will drop food. Eat the food and then rinse and repeat when the heal cooldown has finished. It is a good idea to keep a manual tally counting up how many you have eaten so you know when you are close.

Gold
The final battle of the game and most likely the last trophy you earn before getting the platinum trophy. This fight is quite tough and you will need a minimum of power level 91 to take him on. Thankfully the boss does not seem to have any new moves on the different difficulties so you will be able to use the same methods to defeat him every playthrough.

The boss has 2 phases, his first phase is the tiny villager that you have a handful of encounters throughout the game and will have 2 attacks in this phase. His main attack will be shooting purple projectiles at you in a straight line which is very easy to doge by simply walking out of the way. His second attack will be to spawn a wave of mobs to fight you. While you might be tempted to use your ranged weapon it is recommended to use melee and save the arrows for his second phase.

The Arch-Illager's second phase is his most powerful, he is faster, stronger and his attacks will do devastating damage to you He has 3 attacks in this phase. The main attack you need to watch out for is his laser beam attack which will shoot out of him in a big + shape and then start spinning. The best spot I found to dodge these beams is to hide in the nook in the image below on the bottom right of the screen, the stone will block the beams and save you from being hurt.

The second attack is his teleportation attack. He will spawn multiple copies of his head round you and shoot a laser beam from each of his mouths, Your best best is to keep running around to avoid them, while you can hide in the stone nook to avoid these beams you could get unlucky and have one spawn and shoot diagonally at you and kill you.

His third attack is shooting a large amount of purple bombs out of his mouth, these are quite easy to avoid if you keep away from him and do not pose much of a threat to you.

Co-op Battle

Having friends will make this fight a lot easier, especially if you all have good weapons and armor with good enchantments on them. You could try the all out high DPS method to kill him as fast as possible, or you could try having 1 or 2 players fight him at a time while the other 2 wait just before the platform to jump onto the arena, once the 2 players are about to die the next 2 players jump in to keep the fight active.

Solo Battle

While attempting this boss a few times I have found that he does not have a very big detection radius to see you, with a bit of luck you can wait for his teleportation attack in the top left of the image and then when he is there quickly run to the stone nook in the bottom right, in many cases I found that you are outside of his radius so he will not teleport closer to you as he will be half off the screen, however your bow can still damage him even if you can not see him. As you have saved all your arrows from the first phase you will be able to whittle down his health and either kill him or get his health low enough to melee attack and win.

Blast Radius
Kill any 10 mobs at once with TNT.

TNT is a rare drop from Fancy Chests (gold ones) and will also drop randomly from mobs once you kill them. The drop rate percentage is increased the higher the difficulty you pick. In Default, you might be lucky to get 1 TNT per level, in Apocalypse, you will get 3 - 5 per level. If you are unable to get this to pop at a lower difficulty just wait until you are stronger and can reach the higher tiers as the levels will have stronger TNT and more mobs.

When you have stacked TNT on top of your head you can throw it with R2. Make sure to aim towards the mobs as it will have an Area Of Effect radius which outputs the same damage to anything inside that radius.
Maxed Out And Geared Up
Equip a gear set consisting of fully enchanted items (3 enchantment slots upgraded to level 3).

This trophy expands on Silver Worked Like A Charm but this time around instead of upgrading a single enchantment to tier 3, you need to upgrade all 3 enchantments of the item to tier 3 for a full gear load-out which consists of 1 Armor, 1 Melee and 1 Ranged Weapon. Items with 3 enchantments generally will not appear until Apocalypse difficulty so you will probably have to wait until the home stretch before you attempt this trophy (though you could be lucky and get one from a merchant).

You will earn an enchantment point each time you level up and you will gain back the enchantment points you have invested in any item if you have salvaged them. Keep in mind you can not disenchant a weapon and keep it, the only option is to destroy/salvage it, so make sure you are prepared to lose that item.

As enchantments do not have a set number of enchantment points needed to upgrade a tier the table below is an approximation to fully enchant a single item. As you can see it will take around 18 - 27 points to fully upgrade 1 item so to unlock this trophy you will require around 54 - 81 enchantment points.

Worked Like A Charm
Enchant an item and upgrade the enchantment to Tier 3.

Enchantments are one of the main elements to Minecraft Dungeons. Enchanting an item will give it perks and abilities based on which enchantment you have picked for said item, there are 3 levels of enchantment with each level requiring more enchantment points to unlock it.
To get enchantment points you need to gain enough exp to advance to the next level or by salvaging a currently enchanted weapon.

You can enchant Armor, Melee Weapons and Ranged Weapons. You can enchant your item in the inventory menu by pressing Triangle then picking your enchantment and pressing Cross to apply it, different enchantments will require different enchantment points needed to reach tier 3, once you have upgraded an item to tier 3 the trophy will unlock.

The 3 artifacts required for this trophy can be dropped from mobs or bought from the merchant trader if you are lucky with RNG. You can see what items will drop when picking the level you want to play on on its information page.

The 3 artifacts needed are:
  1. Wonderful Wheat - This spawns the Llama and is an common drop while playing on Default.
  2. Tasty Bone - This spawns the Wolf and is an uncommon drop while playing on Default.
  3. Golem Kit - This only spawns on Apocalypse difficulty on Hidden Level and Pumpkin Pastures however there have been reports of players getting it from the Wandering Trader as well.

Once you have the artifacts you can use them like any other artifact by placing it into your hot-bar and then activating it. The below video is for visual reference if you need it.
