    The International Forum on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism takes place in Malmö, Sweden this week. Also, the Malmö City Archive covered up books about the Holocaust and the history of Jews in Sweden “in order to avoid vandalism”.

    I like radio because of the atmosphere it creates, in which people listen individually yet share the experience together. It is quite different from TV or the internet. I feel comfortable in this intimate and personal space.

    The problems of misinformation and disinformation regarding conflict between Israel and Gaza, are unfolding out of the pages of the New York Times. The slow leak of corrections also shows the issues with understanding a conflict from the amount of bodies, and without context.

    Very interesting piece from on how the US context is (wrongly) mapped on to Israel-Palestine I think the same also applies (in reverse) to Europe - we increasingly understand our own political and cultural dividing lines as an extension of American ones
