If you’ve forgotten your Firefox Accounts password, reset it to a new password, then log in to Mozilla VPN with your new password.
Note: You may lose some of your synced browsing information if you reset your password without recovery keys. We will be able to recover your payment information but not your browsing information, bookmarks and logins.

Reset your Firefox Account from a Windows 10 device
- Click the Firefox Account icon in the toolbar.

- On the Firefox Account page, click next to Password.
- Follow the steps to enter your old and new passwords, then click Change to finish.
Once you’ve changed your password, log in to Mozilla VPN with your new password.
Reset your Firefox Account from an Android device
- Open the Firefox app.
- Tap the menu button (either below the screen on some devices or in the upper right of the browser) .
- Tap .
- Tap your username next to the Firefox account icon.
- On the Sync screen, tap your username next to the Firefox account icon.
- Enter your Primary Password if you’ve set one and tap ; otherwise, tap through the prompts.
- On the Firefox Account page, tap .
- Tap Forgot password? and follow the prompts to recover your password.
Once you’ve changed your password, log in to Mozilla VPN with your new password.
Reset your Firefox Account from an iPhone or iPad
- Open the Firefox app.
Tap the menu button at the bottom of the screen (the menu will be at the top right if you're using an iPad):
- Tap (or your username if you’re logged in).
- Tap or if you’re on the ‘’Firefox Account’’ page, tap next to ‘’Password’’.
- Tap ‘’’Forgot password?’’’ and follow the prompts to recover your password.
