Gold Program
$172 per unit, per month
- Most extensive financial support by sharing 100% of any medical incident exceeding $500 (as long as all other Guidelines are met), up to $125,000 per illness. Read an example here.
- Includes:
- Inpatient or outpatient hospital incidents and surgery
- Medical testing
- Maternity
- Physical therapy and home healthcare (up to 45 visits for each type)
- Incident-related doctor’s office visits
- Incident-related prescriptions
- Removes the $125,000 per illness cap when adding Brother’s Keeper
Gold plus Brother's Keeper
- Shares expenses exceeding $125,000 per illness to an unlimited amount
Silver Program
$118 per unit, per month
- Shares medical expenses exceeding $2,500 as long as all other Guidelines are met, up to $125,000 per illness.
- Includes:
- Inpatient or outpatient hospital incidents and surgery
- Surgery performed at facilities that meet accepted standards of medical care
- Does not include:
- Maternity bills
- Testing and treatment outside of a hospital
- Urgent care facilities
Silver plus Brother's Keeper
- Provides an additional $100,000 of cost support
- With each annual renewal, members receive an additional $100,000, accruing up to $1 million per illness

- Shares medical expenses exceeding $5,000 as long as all other Guidelines are met, up to $125,000 per illness.
- Includes:
- Inpatient or outpatient hospital incidents and surgery

- Does not include:
- Maternity bills
- Testing and treatment outside of a hospital
- Urgent care facilities

- Provides an additional $100,000 of cost support

Gold program incidents example:
You receive treatment early in the year for a gallbladder problem. Your bills total $7,500 and you receive $2,500 in healthcare provider discounts. CHM shares $5,000 ($7,500-$2,500), which is 100 percent of the cost after discounts. In the middle of the same year you have some blood tests done (for an unrelated illness) that cost $400. CHM does not share any of these bills because the total cost of the incident is less than $500. At the end of the year, you break your arm and the treatment amounts to $2,500. CHM shares the entire amount of $2,500 because the incident totals more than $500 and the treatment meets all other CHM Guidelines.
Brother's Keeper: CHM's catastrophic bills program
Brother’s Keeper is your safeguard against catastrophic illness or injury. Brother’s Keeper is a low-cost, Bible-inspired program enabling CHM members to meet medical bills that exceed the $125,000 limit per illness specified in the CHM Guidelines.
Group health programs
Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) has hundreds of participating groups—all of which are Christian organizations with an all-Christian staff. Furthermore, all group members meet other CHM membership requirements.
