Roadmap
Stage 1: Get Your Bearings
Welcome to the trophy guide for The Game Baker's newest game, Haven. This is an enjoyable and relaxing game that can be played solo or co-op, but please be aware that nothing involving the Platinum requires the use of a second controller or player. There is also no trophies related to difficulty, so if you would like to complete the game as fast as possible, you can play on Reduced from the get go.Much of Haven is about exploring the open world and making discoveries with the lovers Kay and Yu. Spend your time getting acclimated to the glide mechanic, which you will be doing throughout the entire game by holding down . In turn, it's recommended to practice drifting on a few flow threads that you discover to get a better hang of the timing and feel.
Encounter the tutorial for battles and the abundant rust that you'll need to clear across Source. The only trophies that need to be kept in your mind is Unstoppable, Shake The Rust Off Their Feet, and Strike!, which is important to ensure you don't do an additional playthrough.
Hold each others' hands and never let go
Give a healing hug
Become a bird perch
Land a double backflip
Reach the heights
Watch helplessly as the Nest falls
Stage 2: Maybe Not Everything's Peaceful
After getting used to the main method of traversal and running into your first enemy covered in rust, you'll want to begin getting the battle-related trophies out of the way somewhat early. The reason is that there is a chance of defeating certain types of monsters that will make some trophies easier, specifically Strike! and Shake The Rust Off Their Feet. Most of the enemies on Source are weak to one of the two attacks Kay or Yu can utilize. Play around with both Impact and Blast to figure out how creatures respond to either. Creatures are weak based on their aura as well, with green auras being susceptible to Impact and red auras being susceptible Blast.
Block attacks until exhaustion
Launch a max-power assistance
Perfect timing
Hit 5 critters in their weak spot, in one swoop
Pacify 5 critters in one swoop
Stage 3: Clean-Up And I'm Not Talking About Rust
In the second half of the game, once you've unlocked Crafting in the Nest as well as Camping outside, you'll want to focus on working towards cleaning up the island in preparation for Spring Cleaning. It's also fairly imperative that you raise the heroes' relationship level ( A Love Supreme) to max before broaching the optional bosses of the game. The bosses are the most difficult and time-consuming aspects of the game since they have special spawn conditions. Check out additional details under Thar She Blows, Back To Rust, and My Little Pony.
There's also a ton of dialogue and extra scenes that can be experienced just by exploring. Quite a few of them are related to trophies, and this is a good time as any to see how Kay and Yu are fairing together on Source.
Take a spill each, back-to-back

Play a guitar ditty
Lose a game of strip-a-bobble
Reach the maximum relationship level
Fill the vegetable patch
Taste every dish
Stage 4: No Turning Back
Before repairing the Nest and acquiring Like New, you'll want to finish up cleaning any rust left on Source. Haven has two very different endings, but if you do Second Thoughts before Don't Look Back, then you can "Continue" from the title screen before making the choice that changes the ending.Luckily, once you experience an ending, an automatic back-up save is created for those of you who will want to go back and explore the game before the end. Due to this, it is very easy to go back and pick up any trophies you left behind with the exception of Unstoppable.
Either way, hopefully you enjoy your shiny new platinum trophy!

Tips & Strategies
There's several things that can help your playthrough and keep your time short when seeking the Platinum for Haven.
- When the game starts, it will ask if you wish to play on Default or Reduced. You can change to Reduced with no repercussions.
- You are unable to pick the enemy you're targeting in Haven, but you can go into the settings and turn on UI elements so you're aware of what you're hitting as well as being able to view your character's health bars.
- The game has a built-in feature to enable you to copy your save data. Head to the title screen, "Load Game", and then copy your data. This can help you with multiple trophies, and should be abused as needed.
- As of patch 1.0.165, a save is created before you repair the Nest and take off for the end of the game that can easily be accessed on the title screen under "Load Game". If you have beaten the game prior to the release of the patch (December 15th, 2020), then load the "Epliogue" and the game will create the back-up save for you.

Lovebirds Hold each others' hands and never let go |
|
|
Anytime Yu or Kay glide along the various islands on Source, they will often gravitate towards one another and hold hands. This does not require the player to push any buttons. Simply look for a long stretch of land, avoid sharp turns, and let them hold hands for ten seconds for the trophy to pop.
Flower Powered Try on the flower boots |
|
|
The Flower Boots are acquired after achieving Don't Look Back. After the end game credits, instead of hitting "Continue" at the title screen it will say "Epilogue". Click this and after a short scene, the game will teach you how to equip the Flower Boots and ask you to use them to create various patches of flowers across the islet. The trophy will pop after using the boots, not after equipping them.
Hug therapy Give a healing hug |
|
|
At any point, Yu and Kay will engage in a hug (and a kiss). This is achieved by not touching the controller and the pair will do one of two idle animations. They will either sit down or hug, if they sit down make them move to try again. It's worth noting that the hug will raise the character with the lowest health to where the other's is. For example, if Kay is at 185 HP and Yu is at 120 HP, then Yu will heal 65 HP. Just do this once to get the trophy to pop.
Head in the clouds Become a bird perch |
|
|
This is achieved by not touching the controller and the pair will do one of two idle animations. They will either sit down or hug, if they hug make them move to try again. It's recommended to keep them farther apart to force this to occur. At random points, a bird will land on Yu or Kay's head. You do not need to be by a flock of birds for this to happen.
An eye for an eye Take a spill each, back-to-back |
|
|
Near the end of the game, you will learn a new technique where you can throw your partner. This is done by gliding with and holding down the button, then letting go once the duo are touching. Simply do this and don't aim it at anything, it will cause whoever was thrown to crash into the ground. Then rinse and repeat with the roles switched.
Life’s short, ride long Land a double backflip |
|
|
There's plenty of tall mountains on the various fragments on Source. Simply go to the top of one and glide off the edge to get this trophy to pop. It should be noted that attempting to do this off of a flow thread will not work.
Ain't no mountain high enough Reach the heights |
|
|
Through your exploration of Source, you'll run into an islet called "Benadon". In this location will be a long and winding trail of flow, which you'll need to follow all the way up to get this trophy. You will need to utilize your drift as there's a ton of sharp turns, but luckily if you fall you can try again immediately.
Over my dead body Block attacks until exhaustion |
|
|
In battle, Kay or Yu can use Shield by holding down the
button. Simply do this three times for the Shield to be exhausted and the trophy will pop.
Last minute Launch a max-power assistance |
|
|
This is one of the riskier trophies specifically because you need to have enough time to revive one of the characters while avoiding a KO. A KO is defined by the game as both characters losing all their health in battle, and having this occur four or more times will void Unstoppable.
I highly recommend doing this later in the game in one of the three final islands as the monsters infected by rust will be a bit tougher. You can also do this with the Hornet Units, if desired. Defeat all the enemies except one, and then have your chosen sacrifice consistently active Shield. This will make sure all attacks are zoning on them and not their partner. Once they have reached zero HP, the character that's alive can then hold down to activate Help. Let the circle indicator spin until it has reached two charges, and revive your fallen ally.

When both character do a Duo attack, the circle indicator can spin multiple times to make said attack stronger. Just let the Duo attack reach two charges, successfully hit the enemy, and you'll achieve this trophy.

Enemies in Haven are weak to either Impact or Blast, depending on the enemy type.
There are several methods to do this trophy, but I prefer the following as it will also knock out Shake The Rust Off Their Feet at the same time.
In the second half of the game, you will unlock "Crafting", which enables you to make healing balms, tonics, as well as the important omni-blast and omni-impact. Create the omni-impact with available rust and seek out the bug enemies. These groups consist of seven or eight of these bugs, which are all weak to impact. Activate Charge and then throw your omni-impact to incapacitate all enemies, which will grant the trophy.
It should be noted that this trophy needs to be done before Spring Cleaning. These bug mobs will not continue to spawn if you clear out all of the rust in the game. Despite the fact, that the last fragment spawns enemies, all of them are higher level and will not be in a group of five or more, which makes this trophy impossible to get.

This trophy can be tricky since you're unable to choose what target you're attacking in Haven; however, you can get this trophy at the same time as Strike!.

Unstoppable Finish the game with 3 KO or less. |

Haven openly admits to not being a difficult game, and gives the players the option on starting on an easier difficulty. If you're worried about this trophy, you can play on the easier difficulty if desired. It should be noted that a KO only occurs when both characters perish in battle. If one character falls, but is then revived then it will not count against the trophy.
KOs are mostly a threat when attempting to do the following trophies: Thar She Blows, Back To Rust, and Last Minute
Another way to avoid a possible KO is that the game has a built in feature to copy save data. Head to the title screen, then "Load Game", and copy data to reload if needed.

Thar she blows Beat the Beruberu |
|
|
Most players will naturally never encounter Beruberu, but he can be considered Haven's superboss.
This trophy is more time-consuming than anything because it also requires a bit of prep. I would highly recommend having already gotten the trophy A Love Supreme, that way both characters will have max health and abilities. In addition, I would also suggest having unlocked "Crafting" at the Nest. This enables you to make balms, tonics, omni-impacts, and omni-blasts.
The real struggle of facing Beruberu is that he only spawns once you've been away from the Nest for over a day in-game (which is roughly twenty-four minutes at a minimum). At this point, both of your characters will be famished and attack much slower, which can be costly against the whale enemy. My recommended advice is to have plenty of tonics on hand as they will make your attacks much faster despite hunger being an issue. Balms will most likely also be necessary as Beruberu hits hard even when the duo is using Shield and has a Counter ability.
When you're all prepped and ready, find an islet to park your butt at and let your characters sit or hug. In roughly twenty to thirty minutes, the area will tremble and the screen will have some tearing on it temporarily. The characters will make a few comments and say they don't want to stick around.
Wait roughly five to ten minutes more, and the screen tearing will become a constant, signifying that Beruberu is chasing for you. The monster will seek you out and then it's time to fight.
This fight has three phases where the large whale will change its approach. In phase one, it's recommended that you Shield to avoid its first attack, then to Charge, and active your tonic. This super speed will allow you to use Duo attacks to beat his first phrase extremely quick as every other Duo attack will stun him.
Beruberu will roar to signify phase two is starting. Ironically, I found the tonic to be detrimental in this phase as the whale will change stances. This is signified by a red aura, which means he is weak to Duo-Blast and a green aura, which means he is weak to Duo-Impact. He will change stance shortly after he attacks, so keep that in mind to make sure you don't perform the wrong ability. Doing so will have your characters either miss or get Countered, and that will cause each of them to get slapped for 30 HP.
He will roar for the last time as he enters phrase three. Activate Charge and renew your tonic to get that speed boost. Utilize Impact whenever you can as you need to be aware of your Shield uses in this phase for both characters. At various intervals, the enemy will cry out and his horn will begin to light up. At this moment, you should Shield with both Yu and Kay since Beruberu will attack one character and then the other. When his attack is finished, you can do a Duo-Impact if you have a tonic active to do some mad damage. However, if you're without the extra speed, it's recommended to do single character Impacts or else you will miss the stun window.
Once you've whittled the beast down and pacified him, then you'll get this trophy.

Back to rust Beat the Lorudo |
|
|
Lorudo is a secret boss that has a chance of spawning at night and only on an islet with rust. Simply wait until night time and do a bit of island hopping on a few rust areas to find him. He's easy to spot since he looks like a big, black bear with a single red eye.
Lorudo spawns with a frog enemy and the dinosaur with a flower for a mane, the latter of which will be stunned after each time it attacks. It's advised to deal with the adds before moving onto Lorudo, but know that he can summon them back into the fight.
The secret boss isn't too complex, and can be taken down with single Blasts. Once he begins to glow a green aura, then it's time to switch to Impact, which he will be weak against. Keep this pattern up, and he'll go down in no time.

My little pony Beat the Heliga |
|
|
Heliga is a somewhat secret boss. I say this because the creature is introduced in a cutscene on the fragment where the is Nest. When you attempt to get closer, it will fly onto a flow bridge, and this signifies that it can be encountered on Source (usually Nekame).
When you engage in the fight, it will spawn with at least one healer add. These can be taken out swiftly with a Duo-Blast. Heliga is also prone to healing and reviving monsters at a rapid speed, but the enemy doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as the other secret bosses. When the beast heals, revives, or attacks, it will become stunned, and Duo-Blast will do massive damage.
Once you've defeated the boss, you'll get the trophy. In turn, the island you've defeated Heliga is where the creature will remain and can heal you to full by interacting with it.

Balding bloot! Watch helplessly as the Nest falls |

This occurs in the very beginning of the game after Source experiences an earthquake, and the Nest takes a tumble down a hill.
Like new! Finish repairing the Nest |
|
|
This is the main goal of the game, so this will happen naturally regardless.
At least three parts can be gotten at multiple locations, but if you're already aiming for Spring Cleaning, then you will naturally explore every islet.
The list of parts and what locations they can be found are as follows:

Second thoughts Choose not to sever the flow bridge |
|
|
At the end of the game, when you've repaired the last part of the Nest, you will be warned that you cannot go back once reaching that point. This isn't quite correct, specifically if you do this trophy before Don't Look Back.
If you attempt this ending, and return to the title screen once it's completed, you can hit "Continue". It will put you right before the choices that give you this ending.
In addition, the game automatically creates a save before taking off in the Nest so you can reload if you decide.
Either way, once you've repaired the Nest, you'll be transported to the final area. Make your way to the bottom and then Yu and Kay will begin to talk. Depending on who got more confidence during dialogue options throughout the game will determine who has more doubt on their plan succeeding. You just need to pick the dialogue options that shed more worry and eventually the characters will decide to take their chance against the Hornets.
The credits will play and then a cutscene for the ending before the trophy pops.

Mooning the moon Midnight skinny dip |
|
|
This is an optional scene that occurs on a private beach on the islet Chogeko. On the edge of the island Kay will mention that they can leap off onto the area below. This will take you to a beach where the pair can dive, sunbathe, and do various other activities. Wait around on the beach until it becomes nighttime and one of the characters will bring up the idea of skinny dipping. The trophy will pop shortly after you agree to swim in your birthday suit.
Can't get wetter... Getting handsy under the waterfalls |
|
|
This is an optional scene that occurs on Nekarow. In the area, there are two different waterfalls you can "Enter". One of them encourages the characters to talk about the chance of a secret cave behind a waterfall and how improbable it is to encounter while the other one actually has said cave. Let the cutscene play out after you enter the waterfall and this will pop.
Pearls before Birble Lure in Birble with creamberry fondue |
|
|
Birble is a creature the player gains access to early in the game on the islet of Benako. There will be a patch of green foliage that you can interact with, which will get you access to Birble at the Nest. From this point on, there will now be the same green patch where you can put a cooked meal on it to summon the flying stingray.
Creamberry is a fruit that can be found in the areas of the map that have yellow grass, located in the southern section of the world. Once you collect 10 of them, return to the Nest, and cook the Creamberry Fondue. Make sure not to eat it, but instead put it in the fridge or cook more to save the dish.
The next time you leave the Nest, take the Creamberry Fondue with you, and use it to summon Birble. It will reward you by taking you to an area with quite a lot of resources and ingredients. Once you visit the area, the trophy will pop.

In my shoes Taste the hygrocybe rubescens |
|
|
Early on in the game you will explore Source and encounter enemies for the first time, which will trigger a tutorial on how combat works. The first enemy will be a brightly colored lizard that eventually is given the name Oink. Once the tutorial is completed and the enemy is pacified, he will end up following Kay and Yu home to the Nest.
Every time you leave the Nest, make it a point to interact with Oink to get a new scene. Scratching the lizard repeatedly will not provide further dialogue, so you will need to sleep at the Nest to make time go by to trigger progression. Once you've done this four or five times there will be an instance where you acquire the item "Hygrocybe Rubescens".
At this point, there's a chance of the scene eventually occurring when you eat at the Nest.

Heartstrings Play a guitar ditty |
|
|
At least two scenes need to occur before Yu can play the guitar.
The first is a random event during Camping where Yu will talk about how she wishes she had a guitar with her on Source.
The other is by visiting the private beach on an islet called Chogeko. On the edge of the island, Kay will mention that they can leap off onto the area below. This will take you to a beach where the pair can dive, sunbathe, and do various other activities. If you dive, Kay's foot will get stuck in a Souvenir Conch, and the duo will take it home as a momento.
Now head back to the Nest to sleep and eat, aiming for a scene where Kay will give the shell transformed into a guitar for Yu.
Now every time you Camp, there is a random chance of this event occurring where Yu will use the guitar. Once you've seen the scene in question then this trophy will pop.

Strip-a-bobble Lose a game of strip-a-bobble |

This trophy will encourage you to eat in the ship often since this is one of the last random scenes you can encounter on the Nest. Scenes can be activated by cooking meals that do not have Appledew in them. Often, if you have too much Appledew, Kay will complain that the food is missing something.
A good way to grind this trophy is to head to sleep, cook a meal, exit the Nest, and then reenter. Rinse and repeat until you get the scene of the two playing Strip-A-Bobble.

Every time the bar fills up to full, you will get an indication that it's time to drink some Applebrew at the Nest. This can be done by returning to the Nest and interacting with the item to the left of the fridge with the command "Celebrate". Leveling up provides you with new skills, stronger attacks, and more HP.
It's worth noting that if you reached a full bar and do not "Celebrate", you will not gain additional experience points and potentially waste any you encounter.
Do this until you hit maximum HP and you will receive this trophy.

Self-sustainability Fill the vegetable patch |

During your explorations on Source, Kay will discover seeds when picking up a random ingredient in the wild. Please note that the player has to be controlling Kay to begin these scenes. From there, the couple will make discovering seeds a contest where each character is attempting to reach nine first.
This trophy can be a little tricky since the order of who finds a seed is scripted. Kay will find the first half before Yu will discover one. As such, continue to harvest ingredients of different plants while switching between the different characters. In addition, you will need to interact with all the plant life such as Creamberries and Loofacrids, which can be found in the plains and swamps respectively.
As a fun aside, you can determine who wins the contest by having your favorite character out for the last seed.
Once you collect the last seed, you need to return to the Nest and visit your vegetable patch to get the trophy to unlock.

Cooking is unlocked very early in the game as a way for the protagonists to feed themselves both in the Nest and when camping around Source. There are twenty-one unique recipes in the game with fifteen that can be made in the Nest and six that can be made while camping.
It's worth noting that if you're missing a combination then the food will display a ??? when attempting to cook it, signifying the player has never made it before.

Spring cleaning Clean up the rust on every fragment |
|
|
As you explore the game, you will encounter a substance called rust. This black and red liquid will be spread across almost all fragments in the game. As long as you have some flow, which can be acquired by gliding a full flow thread, then you can glide over the bright, pink spots to clear rust in the area. You will also need to fight every enemy in the game that is covered in rust. The reason is because those creatures will spread rust back along the area.
This has to be done in every islet of the game, which includes the very last one you discover, Wakime. Some islands in the later game will restore rust if you leave before fully cleaning it, so keep this in mind as not to waste too much time.
It should also be noted that most battle-related trophies should be completed before clearing up all the rust. If you're still missing said trophies, it will impossible to get them without spawning certain enemies to fight.
