Tips & Strategies

If you are going to try and get all the trophies on the first playthrough, keep these things in mind;
  • The lockout point is after Capturing the Imperial Capital in Chapter 7, so get everything done before then!
  • Talk to the Akademia Moogles and sit in on Mog's lecture at least once ASAP.
  • Get the airship Setzer after the first mission of Chapter 7 and shoot down the 50 enemies.
  • If you want to get Bronze The Great Liberator on the first run, you will have to do all the Expert Trials up to Chapter 5. It may be hard on a first run as they are in the mid-high 30s range for levels, but if you use the following trick, you can get a lot of EXP;
  • Go to the secret training guy once the Arena is unlocked and talk to him with the character you want to train. After saving, go to the PlayStation 4's calendar and move the date a few days ahead, then start the game back up. You should get a decent amount of EXP and levels for it, about 3 per session.

To get this trophy, you need to get A in 3 areas:
  • Time you take to complete a mission.
  • Amount of Phantoma you harvest, or objectives completed for city liberation missions.
  • Number of casualties.

In the mission "Operation Reconquista", follow these steps and you should get S rank easily:
  1. As soon as the mission starts, go forward and attack the infantry coming from Domain 1 so it stops the stalemate and Dominion troops can approach it and take it over.
  2. After taking over Domain 1, head to the forest to the right and take down the autoturret.
  3. Head back to Domain 1 and command the Blaze Unit to Aqvi. Again, attack the Infantry coming from Aqvi so it doesn't end in a stalemate and the Dominion troops can get there quicker. Once the shield goes down, invade Aqvi, kill all enemies and absorb all Phantoma you can.
  4. After invading Aqvi and taking it over, instruct the Spark Units to attack Corsi and intercept the Warriors that will be coming out. Try to avoid them yourself unless you have a nice stock of potions as the Warriors will do quite a bit of damage. Then go to Domain 1 and order the Blaze Troops to Domain 2.
  5. You should have Domain 2 conquered, and troops will automatically come from there. Once you get to Corsi and the Warriors stop, go back and instruct Aqvi to send Blaze Units and then head back to Corsi until the shield goes down. Once you invade it and conquer it, the mission will end, and if you did it quickly enough and without any casualties, you should get a S rank.

To get this trophy, you need to make sure that no cadet dies on a mission. Keep an eye on you and your comrades HPs, constantly dodge and attack when given the chance, and you should be fine. The easiest way to get this would to replay the first mission alone, as you will only have to worry about the character you control and no other, so as long as you don't die, you will get the trophy.

If you end up failing, you can redo missions from the title screen and try again at any time.

Killsight is that red mark that appears on enemies when you lock onto them during specific actions. Just kill 100 enemies with it activated. To activate it, just lock onto an easy enemy, like Imperial Soldiers, and it'll usually change when they are about to attack or make a move, and if you hit them while it's active, you'll kill them. This can easily be done in the Arena.

When you fail an S.O., a magic circle will appear under you and kill you. You must dodge all 3 of them in order to get this. Just do a random mission and fail an S.O. when your active character is someone who has Slipstream, so you can dodge infinitely, and just start dodging like crazy, and after the third magic circle misses, this trophy will pop.

An easy way to get this trophy:
  • Play as Ace.
  • Accept an S.O. and fail.
  • As soon as you fail, hold Circle and start dodging, and since Ace teleports instead of actually dodging you'll have a better chance of escaping the magic circle.

Apparantly, sometimes the trophy will not pop after you get the 25th Knowing Tag, and you may have to collect more. It may be because the ones that you might give to the Moogle who will take them don't count, but the exact reason isn't known. Just keep collecting them until the trophy pops.

Sometimes you will find glowing things by bodies of other cadets, these are Knowing Tags, and you just need to collect 25 of them. You may have to replay missions to get enough.

An easy way to get this trophy (Credit to Koori504):
  • Replay the first mission.
  • As soon as the mission starts you'll see 3 Militesi soldiers running toward a closing gate. Kill them then harvest their Phantoma to open the gate.
  • After the gate opens you'll see several enemies ahead. Turn right after killing them.
  • After you turn right you'll see a dead body and a soldier, and if you get closer you'll find more soldiers. Kill all the enemies, harvest Phantoma, and return to the body with the shining object (Knowing Tag).
  • Complete the mission, and repeat.
