08/22/08 - That's the philosophy of today's GOP, and yesterday was a great example of that dynamic. Reeling from the amazing admission by John McCain that he doesn't even know how many homes he has, the McCain campaign, being Rove-trained attack dogs, looked like a pack of braying hounds that weren't quite sure where the fox was. They were running around, snarling and snapping their jaws in all sorts of different directions. Our research team is investigating the reports right now, and we'll be updating our smear pages with these new smears, giving you more opportunities to spread the truth. And we also influenced the debate already. We launched right in the middle of Jerome Corsi's publicity tour of lies, and we couldn't have timed it better. Your energy and enthusiasm for this new site pushed awareness of it throughout the political world, being an effective frame for pointing out what Jerome Corsi's book really is: a repeat of the same bankrupt politics of the Bush/McCain GOP. And you also wrote many letters to the editor to papers across the country, making sure that people know exactly what's going on with the GOP's desperate attempts to smear Democrats to distract people from the mess they've made of our country.
