Access My CPL Account
My CPL is available to all Chicago Public Library (CPL) card-holders and is the place to manage your personal account. To view your My CPL account, click on My CPL on any page of the website and enter your 10 digit library card number and ZIP Code.
On your My CPL Account page you can check the status of your account, track library materials on hold, and renew items currently checked out. You can also edit your email address and update your preferred branch.
By logging in to your My CPL account you can also place holds in the online catalogs and access the many online resources available from the Chicago Public Library.
