It focuses on The Joint Commission’s new antimicrobial stewardship standard for accredited critical access hospitals, hospitals, and nursing care centers. The R3 Report provides a more in-depth rationale and evidence for the new standard that goes into effect on January 1, 2017.

This may include asking your name, birthday, checking your wristband and maybe even your phone number. Hospitals are busy places, there may be other patients that look like you or have similar names. Make sure you are being identified correctly, if you are concerned, always Speak UP!
