New campaign video, podcast, and Infographic - Speak UP: Right ID, Right Care - When you’re in the hospital, nurses are supposed to use “patient identifiers”, this ensures the right patient gets the right kind of care, in the right place, and at the right time. This may include asking your name, birthday, checking your wristband and maybe even your phone number.
Hospitals are busy places, there may be other patients that look like you or have similar names. Make sure you are being identified correctly, if you are concerned, always Speak UP!
