Standard Industries, Inc. is a diversified manufacturing company producing
parts and assemblies from one to one million. USI has the ability
to manufacture precision piece parts as well as integrated assemblies.
We manufacture parts for the hydraulic,
defense, automotive, medical and related industries.

United Standard Industries, Inc. is
housed in a 35,000 square foot air-conditioned building.
Our equipment includes three, four and
five axis machining centers and 2 and 4 axis turning with 7 axis
(multi-tasking with twin spindles and twin live tooling turrets)
and 10 axis twin spindle and twin turret Swiss turning
centers. USI has dozens of conventional machines including
mills, lathes, grinders, hones, saws and die cutting equipment.

Our
cutoff department consists of automatic cut-off saws, with
capacities up to 14 inches in diameter.
We have a complete grinding
department which includes cylindrical grinding and surface
grinding. We also have our own tool room grinders and
vertical and horizontal honing equipment.
USI uses computer assistance
(CAM) in manufacturing. The computers are used for complex
mathematical computations and for generating numerical control
programs. To assist production control in tracking orders,
we have a computerized production control system listing the
status of every job and the projected due date. Our
customers can call and get instant status on their orders.
USI prides itself on quality, service, attention to detail
and working within competitive cost parameters.

In handling the secondary manufacturing
processes, we limit our customers' costs and liability to a complete
product.

We
manufacture from ferrous and non-ferrous materials, bar stock,
plate, castings, forgings, rod and sheet.
Our Quality Control Department
employs only the latest inspection techniques and equipment
and is staffed with highly trained inspectors. This
allows us to do incoming, in-process and final inspection
in a timely manner to insure our customer an on-time, quality
product.
We offer "Just In Time"
shipments at no extra cost and provide customers with cost
saving ideas.
Customers are handled on an
individual account basis. Each customer is assigned
a personal account executive.
